The World Club Championship is an International Ringette Federation event that features the top teams from the National Ringette League (NRL) and the Finnish Elite League. The world’s top ringette athletes showcase the sport’s speed and finesse in a week long event. The inaugural world club ringette championship was hosted in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario in 2008. Turku Finland hosted the event in 2011. The next event is scheduled for 2014 and will be hosted in Europe (location TBD).
