Best of luck Kelsey
It is hard to say goodbye.
Ringette Canada announces the departure of our Program Director, Kelsey McIntosh. Kelsey has been with Ringette Canada for over 4 years and his career path is now leading him in a new direction.
‘It has been such a pleasure to work closely with Kelsey.’ Says Julie Vézina, Executive Director at Ringette Canada. ‘I so admire his loyalty and professionalism and the collaborative environment he is able to create. Even though our paths crossed only for a short time, I will look back on our time together fondly. Kelsey, you are leaving big shoes for us to fill. I wish you nothing but success.’
‘I want to thank Ringette Canada for the amazing opportunity to work on the growth and development of the sport over the last 4 years as their Technical and Program Director,’ says Kelsey. ‘During my time, this great organization has been both innovative and collaborative in developing its coaching and officiating programs. All the while ensuring that it is accountable to grassroot programming, including launching programs like Children’s Ringette alongside our provincial partners. The ringette community has always shown the greatest respect for one another throughout the years, and they continue to strive for excellence in everything that they do.
Besides the great work that I have had the pleasure of being involved in, what I will miss most are the people. The staff and volunteers are second to none, and the leadership of this sport is in great hands for the future.
I have enjoyed my time working for Ringette. Years ago, I started in PEI as the Executive Director, and now more recently at the National level. I look forward to staying involved in the sport as a ringette dad in the stands, cheering on my daughter who started playing ringette this fall.’
We will miss you Kelsey.
