CBC Sports to feature second National Ringette League Hub
Gatineau, QC–Ringette Canada is thrilled to announce the second National Ringette League Hub to air on CBC Sports will be March 15-16, 2025 in Gatineau, QC. We are excited for another opportunity to promote the League to fans and families across the country.
The Gatineau Fusion Hub will be held in Gatineau, QC at the Slush Puppie Centre. As part of the enhanced coverage, games will feature multiple camera angles, and a bilingual commentary team. The National Ringette League trophy will be on site for photos, and the Gatineau Fusion will host an autograph session on March 15. Please see the end of this release for a schedule of games.
“Following the success of our first feature hub on CBC, we are so excited to introduce Canada to the Eastern Division of the National Ringette League,” said Jenni Lloyd, Ringette Canada’s Director of Communications, Engagement, and Marketing. “Whether you attend in person or are watching from home, you will be treated to a weekend of incredible ringette. This weekend will be key in determining standings ahead of the 2025 Canadian Ringette Championships, so every team will be locked in and bring their best. Whether you’ve been a fan for sixty years or this is your first game, there will be something for everyone.”
The National Ringette League was established in 2002, and is the top level league for ringette in the country.
Tickets will be available at the venue. Games will be streamed live on CBC Sports.

About the National Ringette League
The National Ringette League is the longest continuously running professional women’s sports league in Canada. The NRL schedule is structured into regional ‘Hubs’, with all games played on weekends and numbered according to week in the schedule. An NRL game is played in four quarters, each 13 minutes in length. Each team in the East plays a 24-game regular season, while each team in the West plays a 20-game regular season. There is a West and East Division. In 2024-25, the West Division is comprised of the BC Thunder, Calgary RATH, Edmonton Black Gold Rush, Edmonton WAM!, Manitoba Herd, and Saskatchewan Heat. In the East, teams competing are the Atlantic Attack, Cambridge Turbos, Gatineau Fusion, Montreal Mission, Nepean Ravens, Rive-Sud Revolution, and Waterloo Wildfire.
