CRC Day 4 – April 3, 2025
Ottawa, Ontario – April 3, 2025 – The fourth day of the 2025 Canadian Ringette Championships brought the first day of the playoffs, with exciting ringette and upsets aplenty.
In the National Ringette League (NRL) division, the semi-final matchups have been set. In the championship round, the Rive-Sud Revolution will face cross-town rivals Montreal Mission at 5 p.m. ET. This is the first time the Revolution has advanced to the semi-final since the team joined the NRL. The Edmonton WAM! will face the Calgary RATH at 7 p.m., in a rematch of last year’s gold medal game. Meanwhile in the consolation round, the BC Thunder will face the Manitoba Herd at 9:30 a.m, the Gatineau Fusion and Atlantic Attack will meet at 10:30 a.m., the Waterloo Wildfire will meet the Saskatchewan Heat at 10:45 a.m., and the Nepean Ravens and Cambridge Turbos will play at 11:30 a.m. All games will take place at Ray Friel Arena.
In the U19 division, the semi-final championship round features match ups of Calgary Bold and St. Albert Mission, and Zone 2 Blaze and Équipe Québec. The consolation semi-final pairs are the Lac-St-Louis and Team Prince Edward Island, and Team Nova Scotia against Team Saskatchewan.
In the U16 division, the semi-final championship round will see Équipe Québec and Team Alberta, and the Calgary Riot taking on the Richmond Hill Lightning. In the consolation round, Team Prince Edward Island will face Edmonton Ringette. The local Nepean Ravens will meet the Calgary Fuze at 9 a.m. at Ray Friel.
