National Ringette League Award Finalists
The awards program recognizes the performance of NRL athletes during regular season play with trophies for Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, Top Forward, Top Centre, Top Defense, and Top Goalkeeper. These awards along with awards for Coaching Staff of the Year, NRL Top Scorer, NRL Scoring Champion and NRL Volunteer of the Year will be announced at the CRC closing banquet on April 15, 2023.
Nominees for the NRL awards include the following:
Rookie of the Year (the most outstanding athlete in their first year of NRL competition)

Most Valuable Player (the athlete judged to be the most valuable to their team)

- Kaitlyn Youldon – Calgary RATH
- Laurence Larocque – Rive-Sud Revolution
Top Centre (the most outstanding athlete that played predominantly the centre position)
- Gillian Dreger – Edmonton WAM!
- Justine Exner – Calgary RATH
- Kelsey Youldon – Waterloo Wildfire
- Molly Lewis – Nepean Ravens
Top Forward (the most outstanding athlete that played predominantly forward position)

The National Ringette League (NRL) is the showcase league for ringette in Canada and strives to be the premiere women’s sports league in the country.
