Ringette Canada Appoints New Sport Coordinator
We are pleased to welcome Jake Clarke to the Ringette Canada team as the Sport Coordinator. Jake brings invaluable event and operational experience to ringette.
In this role, Jake will oversee the day-to-day implementation of Ringette Canada’s officiating programs, project and events management, and work closely with the Sport Director to plan and deliver all National officials training and meetings.
Most recently, he spent more than 10 years as the Director of Events and Operations for Play On! Canada, a non-profit organization that hosts large scale street hockey festivals across Canada. In 2013, he was part of the team that earned a Guinness World Record for Largest Street Hockey Tournament (35,970 participants, 5,360 teams).
Jake has also worked as a professional Equipment Manager at various levels of semi-professional and professional hockey across North America, as well as various events including two IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships, the Canadian Cancer Society’s cornerstone Relay for Life, and the Diva 5K in support of women’s cancer research.

Originally from Mississauga, Ont., Jake now lives in Ottawa, Ont., with his wife and 21-month-old son, Ryker.
