Ringette Canada Appoints New Sport Coordinator
We are pleased to welcome Pippa Edwards to the Ringette Canada team as Sport Coordinator. Pippa brings invaluable coach development experience to ringette.
In this role, Pippa will oversee the day-to-day implementation of Ringette Canada’s coaching programs, Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) and grassroots programming, and work closely with the Sport Director to plan and deliver all National coach training and meetings.
A chartered professional coach (ChPC), Pippa’s coaching resume covers the entire pathway from grassroots to delivering High Performance Programs, developing leadership opportunities for coaches, and preparing scouting data and performance analysis at elite events including the 2008 Summer Olympic Games.
Pippa comes with a broad experience in multi-sport environments, long term athlete development and participation pathway development. A multi-sport coach developer and learning facilitator, a champion of Safe Sport activities and former chair of Softball Ontario’s coaching committee, Edwards brings with her experience, knowledge, and a willingness to help others.

Originally from Mississauga, Ont., Pippa now lives in Port Perry, Ont., where she coaches a competitive softball team and is involved in various community activities.
