Ringette Canada partners with Winnwell to develop quality ringette equipment

Ottawa, ON – Today, Ringette Canada is pleased to formally announce our partnership with Winnwell, an industry leader in superior ringette and hockey equipment. Athena by Winnwell has become a choice of ringette stick for Team Canada. 

In 2023, Ringette Canada published an extensive equipment survey, in order to determine the needs of the community regarding what kind of equipment ringette participants were using, and to identify the gaps. The results were clear: people wanted more, easier access to high quality gear. 

Winnwell immediately answered the call, focusing on research and development of products that athletes were asking for. They worked with athletes to craft a series of ringette sticks and tips, fine tuning products based on the feedback given. 

In early 2024, Winnwell launched their dedicated ringette brand, Athena, with a series of ringette sticks. Since then, we have seen their commitment to crafting quality, effective products for the ringette community.
