Thank you, Julie!

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of Executive Director Julie Vézina from Ringette Canada. Julie has accepted a new career opportunity that will allow her a better balance as she juggles the high demands of a young family and a burgeoning career.    

We are grateful for all Julie has done for Ringette in Canada these last two years. Her leadership has strengthened our culture and resulted in positive impacts that will leave a lasting impact on our sport for years to come. 

“It has been a pleasure to work closely with Julie,” said Jenni Lloyd, Communications, Engagement, and Marketing Director at Ringette Canada. “I’m proud of the work we’ve done together and it was a pleasure to learn from her. Her leadership, friendship, and presence will be missed but I wish her great success in the next chapter.”

“It has been a real pleasure to work with the entire ringette community,” said Julie. “I feel blessed to have been part of this great family for the past two years, and it is with a heavy heart but full of memories that I leave the organization for family reasons. I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to all the people I’ve come into contact with during my time here, who have helped bring the organization’s values to life. Whether we’re talking about innovation, collaboration and community, respect, or excellence, I’ve met so many passionate and dedicated people that I’m not worried about what’s next. I wish Ringette Canada and everyone involved in ringette all the best.”

Although we are sad to see Julie leave, we wish her the very best. Please join us in congratulating Julie on her new journey. We will miss you.
