The Golden Sticks are on their way to Ottawa for the Canadian Ringette Championships!
Ottawa, ON–The Golden Sticks. A symbol of the Canadian Ringette Championships as iconic as the medals themselves, and more coveted as they are only awarded to the division champions. From the first day of the 2024-25 season, AA and NRL teams have had their sights set on getting to the gold medal game, and coming away with a Golden Stick.
For the 2025 CRC, we are excited to announce that the Golden Sticks have once again been created by DOM Sports, especially for the event. For over 50 years, DOM Sports has been a leader in the sports industry and has long been a champion for the development of ringette in Canada.
“At DOM Sports and Ring-Jet, we are proud supporters of ringette and we are thrilled to partner with Ringette Canada to provide this year’s Golden Sticks, hand-crafted for this special event!” said Jennifer Amaral, Chief Executive Officer of DOM Sports.
The 2025 Canadian Ringette Championships is shaping up to be the most thrilling installment yet, with 49 teams descending on the National Capital Region over the next week. The nation’s best athletes have been training for years for their moment of glory–and that moment has arrived.
Alongside the tournament, adult ringette and Ringette For All showcases will be held. The Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, will be onsite during the National Ringette League gold medal game to present a new trophy named in her honour.
Tickets are available online at crc-ccr.ca or in-person at Ray Friel and Richcraft SensPlex during the event. See the Golden Sticks presented in person at the gold medal games on April 5 at Centre Slush Puppie in Gatineau!
